The advanced open water takes you above and beyond the entry level courses. After you become a fully certified Advanced Open Water Diver you will be qualified to dive down to a maximum of 30 meters.   You will experience all dives with a fully trained and insured PADI instructor, and we are here to guide you into the deeper water in a calm and safe environment. You will learn navigation techniques to help orientate yourself when diving with your buddy as well as feel the raptures of deeper waters. This course is the minimum requirement allowing you to go to the Zenobia wreck – the top 3rd wreck in the world!!

Diving is still classified as an extreme sport., and for this reason first timers are required to fill out a medical questionnaire to ensure they are fit for SCUBA DIVING.

You must answer “NO” to all the following questions, and you will be required to fill out this paperwork upon arrival at the dive centre and before any in water activities can begin.  If you do answer “YES”  you are required to visit a doctor before we can take you in the water – we offer a doctors service and can take you if you wish.  A “YES”  response to a question does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. A positive response means that there is a pre-existing  condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of your physician prior to engaging in dive activities.
